I’m trying to find the name of the night club that was located in LA’s China City in the 1940’s. My uncle, William Got, had a restaurant, Golden Phoenix located in the same compound. I was a girl at that time and did not realize what a “Night Club” meant. My cousin went to that night club and spotted a girl that would later be his wife. His name was Roland Got; he was an actor that was in the movie “The Good Earth.”
